On the occasion of the International Jazz Day established by UNESCO, Fano Jazz Network in collaboration with the University of Urbino promotes a jazz concert aimed at Uniurb university students with the aim of sensitizing young people to the languages of contemporary creative music.

The concert is free, subject to availability of seats (approx. 90-100), and includes a jam session where students can participate, taking their musical instrument for the occasion.

The Magnificent Rector was invited for an institutional greeting to open the concert.
Emilio Marinelli and Gabriele Pesaresi, jazz musicians from the Marche region with numerous prestigious collaborations both Italian and foreign on the shoulders (KENNY WHEELER, MARIA SCHNEIDER, BOB BROOKMEYER, FABRIZIO BOSSO, MASSIMO MANZI, ENRICO RAVA), get involved in this trio involving a young man and very special drummer / Beat Boxer John Michael Mawushie giving life to a vital, rhythmic and unusual project enriched by the use of electronic elements.
The International Jazz Day was established to highlight jazz and its diplomatic role in bringing people together in all corners of the globe. On the occasion of the Day gather communities, schools, artists, historians, academics, and jazz enthusiasts from around the world to celebrate and learn about jazz and its roots; to raise awareness of the need for intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding, strengthening international art cooperation for the promotion of peace, respect for human rights and human dignity, to eliminate discrimination.
