Kinga Głyk is a Polish bass player and, at the age of just 19, has already played in more than 100 concerts throughout his country and abroad. Kinga has performed with excellent musicians from the Polish music scene. Her adventure with music began at the age of 12, when she joined the Głyk Pik Trio with her father Irek (known vibraphonist and drummer) and her brother Patrick (drummer).
Now Kinga is considered the best new generation bassist and a rising star of jazz and blues music. At the head of his jazz-blues-funk band, he got the recognition for his debut album Rejestracja. Adam Makowicz, a world-famous pianist, said of her: “her skills already allow her to enter the history of Polish jazz”. In 2015 he received awards from the two most important Polish jazz magazines: Jazz Top and Blues Top.
In 2016 Kinga recorded his second live album entitled Happy Birthday.
